Background
Microsoft Word 2010 Level 2 extends the learner’s basic skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word 2010 and helps them create more intricate and varied documents. Existing skills and knowledge are enhanced by covering more advanced aspects of key topics such as formatting, tables, and lists, and new features such as merging, envelopes, sections, clip art and graphics are introduced.
The Target population
This module is ideal for people who work in offices, for clubs or charities where there is a requirement to produce more intricate documents. This publication assumes an understanding of Microsoft Word requisite with the skills and knowledge covered in Level 1 of this series. It is also important for learners to have a general understanding of personal computers and the Windows operating system as the learner will be required to start applications, work with and copy files, and locate file folders.
Microsoft Office Word 2010: Level 3
Background
Microsoft Word 2010 Level 3 is designed to provide the learner with advanced skills and knowledge in using Microsoft Word. This module focuses on producing longer documents and includes key aspects such as creating a table of contents, indexing, creating cover pages, and more. This module also focuses on document automation through the use of fields, forms, and macros, and also deals with document change tracking and protection. This module is ideal for people who work in offices, for clubs or charities where there is a requirement to produce more intricate documents.

Background
In today’s work environment, presentations have moved far beyond flip charts and overhead projectors. Audiences not only expect that your presentations are in an electronic format, but they also demand that your presentations be unique and sophisticated in their use of such formats. Microsoft Office Excel 2010 Level 2 course extends the learner’s basic knowledge of Excel and provides the learner with skills and knowledge to produce more effective and productive workbooks. It covers formulas and function techniques, more intricate formatting, setting complex printing options, using intricate charting features and working more effectively with existing worksheets and workbooks. In this course, you will use more of Excel’s built-in functions to perform complex calculations. You will also create charts, use graphics, and data management skills in an Excel database.
Microsoft Office Excel 2010 Level 3
Background
You have used Excel 2010 to perform tasks such as running calculations on data and sorting and filtering numeric data. In this course, you will now learn how to automate some common tasks, apply advanced analysis techniques to more complex data sets, collaborate on worksheets with others, and share Excel data with other applications.
